Counselwell Summit 2022 is approved in the following jurisdictions. When inputting your hours, use "Counselwell Summit 2022" as the title of the program unless you're in Ontario (see below for instructions). 

  • Ontario: The program is accredited for a total of 5.25 CPD hours as follows: 
    • 1.0 hour EDI: Enter each of the two EDI sessions separately: 
      • "Women General Counsel: Challenges and Setting Standards for Success" by Atoussa Mahmoudpour, Chief Legal Officer, WELL Health Technologies Corp. (30 MINUTES)
      • "Returning to the Workplace: EDI Considerations" with Bindu Cudjoe, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Laurentian Bank of Canada, and Christine Holmes, founder of LawyersInHouse.com (30 MINUTES)
    • 1 hour 15 min Professionalism: Enter each of the three Professionalism sessions separately:

  • British Columbia: This program contains 5.0 EPPM hours.
  • Alberta: Please note that the Law Society of Alberta has suspended the mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD) filing requirement for the profession until May 2023.
  • Manitoba: This program contains 5.0 EPPM hours.
  • Saskatchewan: Not accredited.
  • Quebec: Please note that the Barreau du Québec no longer accreditates CPD courses. It is up to course participants to evaluate if the course qualifies within the Barreau du Québec’s criteria and self-declare the course in their online training statement.
  • Nova Scotia: Please note that the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society does not accredit courses offered by CLE providers nor assign hours to a course. It is each course participant’s responsibility to ensure that a CPD course or activity meets the requirements of Regulation 8.3.5 and determine whether to include it in their mandatory CPD Plan.
  • Newfoundland & Labrador: Please note that the Law Society of Newfoundland & Labrador does not accredit courses, and it is each course participant’s responsibility to ensure that a proposed CLE activity meets the content requirements set out by the Law Society and, therefore, qualifies as an eligible CLE activity.
  • PEI: This program contains 5.0 hours of CPD credits.
  • New Brunswick: Not accredited.
