Everyone with a law degree has at some point fantasized about being a juror in a high-stakes trial.

Well, guess what? You’ve been called for jury duty on Tuesday, June 24th, and this trial will challenge your beliefs about guilt, innocence, and the true meaning of justice.

"The Jury Experience" takes live theatre to the next level, as the audience becomes part of the show. As a member of the jury, you, along with your fellow Counselwell members, will analyze witness testimonies, cross-examinations, and forensic evidence in your search for the truth. Every word matters. Every detail counts. And at the end, you must cast the vote that will determine the fate of the accused. Will justice be served? Well, that’s up to you. 

But before the show starts, we'll meet up from 4:30 to 5:45 pm and get to know each other at Blue Door Wine Shop (1010 Bloor St W), which blends the charm of a boutique wine shop with the intimacy of a neighbourhood wine bar. Enjoy a glass of wine from its curated selection of international wines, as well as some yummy food to pair beautifully with the wine. We'll also play a game where the winner can take home a bottle of wine!

At 5:45 our group will head out together next door to Paradise Theatre (1006c Bloor St W) for the show, which runs from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. 

A group of in-house lawyers masquarading as jurors...what could go wrong?!
