Premium members are able to access all standard events (dinners, socials, etc.) for free, whereas Core members are only able to access limited standard events for free (or at all). Each event-specific page identifies who may attend. For events where all members are invited to attend for free, Premium members have priority, meaning they would get invited first and they would get a spot before a Core member.

For special events (workshops, conferences, retreats, etc.), Premium members may either access them for free (and Core members are ticketed) or at a heavily discounted rate (and Core members pay full price). 

All of our recorded video content (40+ hours) is available for Premium members.

Premium members are also eligible to sign up to our quarterly mentor/mentee matching program, post featured jobs on our job board, and receive early access to benchmark reports.

At this time, our membership is for in-house lawyers in Canada and the US only. At some point we may consider opening it up to legal ops and other legal department roles.

Yes! Discounts on the Premium plan are available if you are:

1. Joining as part of a group, or
2. Paying out of pocket without reimbursement from your employer.

After you join the community, you'll get an email prompting you to set up your account.  

Once logged in, you can navigate our community portal. Core members will have limited access in the community portal, and Premium members will have full access in the community portal.

Yes, your membership auto-renews every year starting from your date of sign-up.

Your membership year begins on the date of signup.

At this time our membership is only for in-house lawyers in Canada or the US (to ensure we're giving you the full community experience).

If you switch jobs during your membership, please notify us. We will update your member email to your personal or new work email, and you won't lose any of your membership time.

In most cases, no. However, if you really need a community, please contact us to inquire and we can evaluate your circumstances. 

If you're on our Core (free) plan, and want to upgrade to Premium (paid), simply sign up as a Premium member here (you can do this at any time).

If you're on our Premium (paid) plan, and would like to downgrade to Core (free), you can cancel your Premium membership by contacting us and letting us know that you'd like to switch to Core. We will then recover from our sadness cancel your upcoming auto-renewal payments, cancel your Premium status, and grant you Core status.

If you're currently unemployed in an in-house position in Canada or the US, you cannot join the membership. If you're already a member and then you quit or lose your job, you may remain a member as long as you're actively seeking in-house employment.
