Region Lead Program 

Want to represent Counselwell across Canada as a Region Lead?

This is a big moment.

Counselwell needs to grow fast to support our current members across Canada and motivate prospective members to join. The best way to do that is by hosting more events across Canada. A lot more events.

I can't be everywhere at once, which is why I am now interested in appointing Region Leads in Waterloo, Ottawa, Calgary, Montreal, and Vancouver ("Applicable Regions").

Please apply for the role of Region Lead if you:

• Have strong interpersonal and social skills 
• Have at least five (5) years of total legal experience
• Are comfortable hosting and leading 2-5 in-person events per year in your region (at restaurants, law firms, etc.)
• Reside in any of the Applicable Regions
• Are skilled at making guests feel comfortable at events
• Have a strong local network of in-house lawyers and external counsel
• Have a passion for nurturing our growing in-house community
• Have good event ideas, venue ideas, etc.
• Are currently a member

Benefits:

• You will be paid per event ($50 per event hour) as a contractor
• You will be recognized on our website (e.g. "Region Lead (Vancouver)")
• You will play an important role in making things just a little easier and better for in-house lawyers in your region 
• You will get access to events (more than the typical member)
