What's Really Slowing Legal Down?

Speedy GC 2026 is a research survey from Counselwell, conducted in partnership with SpotDraft, focused on how in-house legal teams experience and define "speed" in their day-to-day work.

The survey explores how legal leaders allocate their time, how technology and AI are being used in practice, how sustainable current ways of working feel, and how Legal interacts with the rest of the organization. It is intended for all in-house legal professionals, including General Counsel, Deputy GCs, Legal Operations leaders, and senior in-house counsel.

The survey takes approximately 8–10 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential and will be reported only in aggregate as part of the Speedy GC 2026 report.
